Real Estate Questions and Answers
As a real estate agent, I am often asked for information. In a recent 24 hour period, I was asked the following:
1) For a referral of a professional organizer who could help my client’s elderly parents sort through a lifetime of memories and “stuff” in the garage. Organizing is a big business and hiring a professional is not cheap.

2) Who the plumber was for a home I sold five years ago. I did not represent the buyer; I represented the seller from the purchase once removed from this buyer. (I was able to track down the plumber).
3) Now the most interesting: I have a client whose friend wanted to buy a home which is already in escrow. Said friend, emailed the listing of the home to my client. My client looked @ the photos and in one of the pictures she noticed a piece of art that she thinks may be a painting which was stolen from her years ago. The home appeared to be professionally staged, so I contacted the listing agent to obtain the name of the stager. Forwarded that info to my client. She will be contacting the stager and asking to look at some of her art. Stay tuned!
As always there is never a dull moment in real estate.

How did the story with the painting go? I'm really curious to find out if it was hers or not. I guess the painting must have meant a lot to her, if the Universe conspired to get her to the precise house it had been in.

I have been thinking of that as well, and will need to contact her to find out.
