Los Angeles Real Estate Trends
Lisa, Natalie and I have noticed some interesting trends in real estate. More first time buyers are waiting to move into their new home. Last year we had several clients wait at least two weeks to complete their move.
As lenders become more unreliable in pinpointing closing dates, this is a positive trend. Home buyers are moving at their leisure. They are taking the opportunity to make any renovations, such as a fresh coat of paint prior to their move. They can take a day or two to leisurely set up their kitchen and bathrooms.
I am all for anything that makes life easier and cuts down on stress.

Another trend I have noticed is that more home sellers are contacting me in the beginning of January. In prior years it’s been much quieter in January. I just listed another (coming soon) home. This one is located in Glendale’s Oakmont Woods but serviced by La Crescenta’s award winning schools.
More Home sellers are contacting me early in the sales process. They are meeting with my stager for their complimentary home staging consultation. We are getting all of our ducks in a row so that they will sell their home quickly and at the highest possible price.
Thinking of selling your home? It is never too early to consult with your Realtor.
