December real estate statistics were kind to La Crescenta.  Average price per sq ft increased, average sales price leapt up to the highest level of the year. Percentage of selling price to list price also rose from last month.  The percentage of short sales and foreclosures at 7% was the lowest for the year; removing these distressed sales from the equation positively influenced La Crescenta home values.
