How this Glendale home seller went from listed to sold
In August, I met with a Glendale home seller whose mother had lived in her condo for several decades. Her décor was tired. Her savvy son, agreed to a fresh coat of paint, tossed the dated drapes, and installed laminated hardwood floors. My amazing home stager, Charis, helped select the paint and flooring colors. The transformation cost just under $9,000 and the results were worth the time and money. This condo went from dreary to promising.

Real Estate Photos from a professional photographer never hurt!
I input the listing in the multiple listing service after Labor Day weekend, 9/6. I thought the initial $340,000 asking price was “ambitious” but at the end of the day, I am the employee. Some homeowners like to test the market and so we did…. no nibbles and on 10/1 we dropped the price to $330,000. On 10/31 a second price reduction to $310,000 and on 11/9 we received our first offer. Buyer and seller agreed to a final selling price of $300,000.
There are currently five active listings in this same complex, but with a home seller realistic about pricing and in a position to make some improvements, we went from active to sold and are closing this week.

I think the path in the kitchen is too narrow.
