Ridiculous MLS Photos

This blog just can't be about statistics, we have to have a little fun too.  And a reminder to home sellers, please check online to see how your Realtor is marketing your home.

This Glendale home has been on the market for almost four months and just reduced $50,000.  At first glance the $695,000 price tag doesn’t seem out of line for a 4 bed, 4 bath home on 10,000+ sq ft lot.  Let’s see how the seller’s Realtor is marketing the home.  MLS (multiple listing service) remarks read:

“Location Location Location. Big lot and big house. Sold As is Trustee sale with no warranties granted. No need of court confirmation.Partial copper piping sewage lines renewed. Part Roof renewed when second floor built with permit. Second part around 10 years ago per tenant. Fresh paint all around the house. Deck painted wood floors polished.”

Hmm... renewed sewer lines and roof, haven’t heard that terminology before.  Let’s take a look at the photos the seller’s Realtor used for the MLS:

I guess the real estate agent was in a hurry and didn't have time to turn on the lights

Is it the wall sconce the Realtor is trying to highlight?

Other than the towel strewn on the stove, the kitchen is clean, too bad the agent couldn't take the time to turn on the lights.

They are growing something....

The home comes with a hose

Just one more stupid photo; why not take the picture from another angle and avoid the staircase?  This feels a little claustrophobic to me.
