I believe the biggest obstacle to high end real estate is mortgage financing. Although Burbank hasn’t seen a $2,000,000+ sale since 2009, there are currently three listings on the market exceeding that price point:

This is a good post! I just looked at a luxury property in Atwater Village $1,595,000 who would have guessed a home for that much in Atwater!
