Ridiculous real estate photos found in the MLS

Enough events and things to do, back to the focus of my Los Angeles real estate blog: real estate.

This is a new listing in Northwest Glendale’s Brand Park neighborhood; before I married George I lived just around the corner.

Don’t you especially appreciate the photo of the front of the “vacant” home with the 2 cars in the driveway and the trash cans prominently featured (maybe the trash cans are included in the sale).

The agent’s MLS remarks read: View, View View!!Contemporary designed home in an nice area of Glendale, very private with panoramic views that you will fall in love. Private gated driveway, long entryway,3 a/c units,2 fireplaces, living room, step down family room, dining room may site up to 50 people. Large master suite, walk in closets, high ceilings, recess lights, game room, laundry room, 3 car attached garage.

Agent-Only Rmrks:  Short Sale Subject To Lender's Apporval. Vacant Call Agent For Appointment. Cash Offers Only.

Typos and punctuation blame on that real estate agent.

Apparently the listing agent believes the long perilous driveway to be a selling feature

The “vacant” home has a furnished dining room and family room, too bad the agent couldn’t turn on lights for the photos.

This home also boasts a hallway (also dark)

A lovely master bath, take a look at the photographer reflected in the mirror

The home also features a patch of weeds

I think what irks me most is that the home is clean, uncluttered and the owner's real estate agent, couldn't even turn on lights before taking the photos. I think the home seller should confiscate his Realtor’s camera and tell her to hire a professional.
