Ridiculous MLS Photos
Over the span of my real estate career I have had numerous Senior clients move to Seal Beach’s Leisure World (and if you’re curious, they love it there). One of my clients is planning on moving next year and was curious what her Glendale condo would sell for. While running comps (comparables) I came across some amusing MLS photos.

My home stager and friend Charis will be horrified over these....
Note the boxes stacked up in the first photo (living room). Nothing says anxious seller more than boxes in the living room. Umbrellas propped up against the wall are also an interesting design element.
I think the cluttered kitchen counter speaks for itself....And the last photo...the bedroom.....notice the attached bathroom.

Note the sweater hanging over the chair and the water bottle storage in the patio photo. How about the TV turned on in the Living Room photo... The curling iron and messy towels add an inviting touch to the bathroom photos.
Obviously the Realtor didn't hire a professional photographer, but doesn't the home owner care that his property is being represented and judged by these photos?

I love your blog, it's quite entertaining. While it's easy to blame the agent I have to say some of my client's have been a bit challenging when it comes to presenting their homes. I have been known to bring a bottle of windex to open houses and stick things away for showings. This property takes the cake though!!!
