Why this LA Realtor is not in Nassau

Last week George and I snuck away to Vegas for a few days with friends.  Lisa was left in charge of Harb & Co.  Although, I checked email and made a few calls Lisa finalized the listing paperwork on our newest listing, the celebrity owned compound in Glendale (more on that later).  It was a great get away.  We stayed at  The Hotel; which has a fabulous spa; I particularly love their bathhouse.

We had an amazing dinner at the Encore’s Botero.    I had never been to the Encore which is a completely different vibe, very luxurious and much quieter.  If you like the mob scene you won’t like the Encore, but I was very impressed and would love to stay there the next time I go to Las Vegas.

Lisa and I have been fundraising since January for the YWCA’s silent auction.  The luncheon is Thursday, and we have some great items for the auction. Check them out here:  I thought I would miss the luncheon as George and I were invited to Nassau.  But in real estate things can change at a moment’s notice.  I am just too busy to go. So George is in Nassau sunning and relaxing while I am here listing and selling real estate. And of course I will now be at the luncheon.

What Harb & Co is working on:

Preparing the Celebrity Owned Gated Glendale Compound for sale

Waiting for the Court Order so Lisa and I can close escrow on the shack, yes a shack

We’ve wrapped up the inspection contingency on La Canada’s Bel Aire  and are waiting for loan approval and closing.  This home was quietly marketed, more on that later.  The owner will be renting the top floor of a Pasadena Craftsman duplex from one of our clients.  This way she can leisurely look for a home.

We received short sale approval  on a Tujunga home and are obtaining a roofing estimate.   It’s not easy scheduling roofing estimates in rainy weather…

Natalie and I sold a character home in Glendale and opened escrow.

We still need to sell the La Canada fire sale  and the lot in Shadow Hills.

And we have buyers, lots and lots of home buyers, all prequalified and most with substantial down payments.  I showed homes all weekend, it’s been a long time since I worked a seven day week and it felt great.  Of course I always have phone calls and emails, but it’s been a long time since I have had at least one appointment every day of the week.  It’s going to be a busy Spring. And, that’s why this Realtor is not in Nassau.
