Glendale Crime Statistics 2010



Many components make a community desirable: schools, low crime rate, commute time to employment centers etc.  Glendale CA has consistently ranked among the top US safe cities.

Glendale 2010 Crime Statistics:

Rape 17 in 2010, 15 reported in 2009.

Burglaries increased to 642 in 2010 versus 635 in 2009. 48 were of homes or attached garages, while the others were businesses or structures not attached to homes.

Robberies 119 in 2010 versus 126 in 2009.

Aggravated assaults dropped from 158 in 2009 to 141 in 2010.

Larceny thefts accounted for 2,749 incidents in 2010, up from 2,719 in 2009.

Stolen vehicle reports dropped from 396 in 2009 to 322 in 2010.

Arson 12 reported incidents in 2010, 11 in 2009

Murder none were reported in 2010. 3 homicides were reported in 2009.

    Thank you so much for this! My aunt lives in Eagle Rock and thankfully nothing has happened to her. What do you think the increase is from- higher population in the Glendale area? Homes are being an "easy target"?
