When refinancing, who should you contact first? Your lender or your real estate agent? 

Many of my clients contact me for a lender recommendation. Others contact me after they have already applied for their mortgage.  As their real estate agent, they ask me to assist them in providing comps for the appraiser, which I am happy to do. 



Don’t fall into the group of the others who contact me after the appraisal was completed and was low.  If you are refinancing, talk to your Realtor before the appraiser knocks on your door.
