Will your remodel pay off at time of resale?

Unfortunately, most remodels will not provide you dollar for dollar return on your investment.

But, we have entered a new real estate era and homeowners will not be moving as frequently.  As we remain in our homes longer, we should be comfortable.  Your home is the heart and soul of your family.

One of the benefits of home ownership is personalization.  There is no landlord to answer to, if you want red walls, you can have them.

Compare Los Angeles remodeling projects, the costs and learn what you might capture at time of resale.

Renovating is hard and stressful work for most homeowners. While many of the improvements will add some value to their home, the cost of the improvment cannot be added to the value of the home. One buyer may pay extra for those granite countertops while another considers them a negative. The best advice I can give to a homeowner is to renovate for your own pleasure and when the time comes, hope for a buyer who appreciates the effort.
