The continuing decline of the Los Angeles Times

I used to spend at least an hour pouring over my Sunday Times, but that was a long, long time ago.  They still have excellent reporters, but the paper keeps shrinking. I recently learned that the Leader/Newspress is canceling their real estate (pull out) section. I believe that they are merging with their San Fernando Valley Real Estate section.

As approximately 90% of home buyers begin their search on the Internet, I suppose it’s not that big of a deal. But, I have been an avid reader of this section for years, even before I started selling real estate.  I enjoyed looking at local homes (real estate in Glendale, Burbank and the Foothill communities of La Canada, Montrose and La Crescenta) and comparing prices.  No more…. for those of you who will miss it, there is always the Internet. Search the MLS, just like Realtors do, here
