People sell their home for a variety of reasons: they could be moving into a larger home, starting a family, divorcing, downsizing,or today's ugly reality is that many are selling because they can no longer afford their home.  



Home sellers should remember that they have a Realtor, their listing agent.  The buyer’s agent represents the buyer.  When I list a home for sale, I remind my clients to keep paperwork regarding this sale or a planned purchase tucked away; I don’t want potential buyers to know my clients motivation.  I also remind my clients not to answer questions from the buyer's Realtor, but to refer those questions back to me.
