Clutter Buster

I met a client over the weekend that is moving to Arizona.  She has an amazing job offer and lucky for her that her new employer will cover her moving costs – packing too. But she still has to sort through the stuff, what to take, what to donate, and what to trash.

One of the most time consuming aspects of moving is packing.  Unfortunately, most of us have too much stuff.  Most of my clients tell me that after moving to their new home that they often boxed and moved things that should have either been donated or trashed. Monthly we should go through a drawer, a closet – just one place a month to weed through and discard.

Do you have old cell phones, cameras, PDAs, laptops, external drives, MP3 players or GPS devices?   Visit Gazelle.com and enter the gadget name in the search bar. Answer a few questions about its condition and if you have accessories such as cables or adapters. Up pops the price they'll pay you for your gadget. If you accept this price they will send a postage-paid box to ship it to them.

Clutter is a soul thief. It takes regular focused effort and systems to keep it at bay.
P.S. I had never heard of Gazelle.com for recycling electronic gadgets. Thanks for that tip.
