Hi Phyllis, great piece. I know this sounds like an advertisement but there is a certain value of bringing someone in to help you make decisions on what to keep and what to toss. It's a fabulous time to take a hard look at what you own and what your future may bring. Because of the impending moving deadline, you can use the schedule to "push" yourself into making decisions on what to do with the mess. After all, disorganization and clutter are primarily postponed decisions. Finally making choices moves you forward and gives a sense of empowerment. And you'll arrive at your new destination refreshed, I promise. If you cannot hire a professional organizer, bring in a friend who can help you decide and keep you company during the process. There is also a massive amount of help on the internet. Good luck to your friend!

John, you are correct. Moving is an excellent time to weed through the stuff.
