When all else fails..... threaten
Part 1 of the Harb home purchase
Part 2 of the Harb home purchase
Part 3 of the Harb home purchase: As soon as escrow closed, I was ecstatic; I was in love with this home and couldn’t wait to start getting it in shape. I picked up the keys and ran over to my new home. But the former occupant left a big barking dog in the back yard. I am a dog lover, so I couldn’t just let the dog loose or call the pound.

After five unreturned telephone calls to the former owner/real estate agent I finally called her office manager and told her if that dog was not gone in an hour, I was going to hire a wrangler and drop it off in their real estate brokerage lobby. Amazingly, they picked up the dog within the hour.
