A day in the life of a Los Angeles Real Estate Agent
Not a lot going on but a lot is going on. Lisa has graciously labeled thousands of postcard invitations for our new listing at 4342 Oakwood in LaCanada Natalie met the photographer Monday and the photos and floorplan are posted on my real estate web site.
It took the El Caminito owners a bit longer than anticipated to move out of their home but fortunately the buyer has been very patient. In the meantime, lots of drama and lots of phone calls. This is one more reason to start packing and decluttering when you first list your home. Moving is very time consuming.
We are prepping our 4 bedroom La Crescenta home to come on the market the first week of April.
My best friend has just purchased a home in Ventura County. She hired my favorite home inspector and was very pleased with him. I don’t sell homes in Ventura and although I am not her Realtor, I am her best friend so we have had several discussions regarding the inspection.
Received a call from my daughter’s friend’s parents…. They have a home on the market in San Diego and their Realtor has just asked for a $200,000 price reduction – 20%! Hmmm......
I have a client who is thinking of expanding their home; they asked that I look at the blue prints to determine if they will get their money back at time of sale. If you have a relationship with a Realtor, it is always wise to seek their opinion on resale before making any costly remodels or additions.
