Let’s finish the January housing stats, so we can get back to real estate musings, issues and tidbits. Just 13 La Crescenta homes sold in January 2009.  But the number jumped to 23 in January of 2010.  30% of La Crescenta home sales are distress sales compared to it's Glendale neighbor's nearly 50%.



Of the 23 La Crescenta home sales: 

5 (22%) were short sales

2 (9%) were REO’s (real estate owned aka foreclosures)

16  (70%) were traditional sales.
