Homowners learn what the Chinese New Year has in store for your home

Perhaps the New Year didn’t start out the way you hoped.  The good news is that you have another chance to get on the right New Year’s foot.  The Year of the Tiger begins February 12, 2010 and ends February 2, 2011.

You have an astrological sign, but what about your home?  After “analyzing”, the Chinese Zodiac, I have determined your home’s horoscope for 2010.   Just check the year your home was built to determine what the Year of the Tiger has in store for your home.

Rat:

Look forward to: Love will blossom in your home this year.  This will be a great year for do it yourself projects.
Caution: Your home will be more accident prone this year, be very careful when burning candles.

Ox:
Look forward to: A great year for entertaining friends and family.
Caution: Arguments could get out of hand this year, if they escalate, take it outside.

Tiger:
Look forward to:
Plumbing or septic issues should be resolved this year.
Caution: Buying or selling a Tiger home this year will be problematic, if you do so, make certain you have the assistance of an experienced Realtor

Rabbit:
Look forward to: Love will blossom this year. Weddings, showers, anniversaries – have all of the parties at your home, it will be more potent than a love spell.
Caution: Save money, unexpected expenses might be a problem if you are caught unprepared.

Dragon:
Look forward to: Work done at the home will be especially fruitful.  Perhaps now is the year to complete that novel or screenplay.
Caution: Make sure your trees are trimmed and not intruding on the neighbor’s property line.  Try to avoid conflicts with neighbors.

Snake:
Look forward to:
2010 will be a great year for making new friends.  Invite your boss over for dinner often this year and you will get both the raise and the promotion.
Caution: If remodeling this year, be certain you don’t over extend yourself.  Try to keep your budget in check with the price range of your home.  A $500,000 home doesn’t require a Sub-Zero refrigerator.

Horse:
Look forward to: 2010 will be a year for making amends; now is the time to resolve any issues you had with your neighbors.  If you have had  a falling out with a friend or family member, invite them to your home; reestablishing ties with loved ones will come easily when you invite them to your home.
Caution:  Although, home maintenance and repairs will not pose a problem, be cautious with home improvements;   2010 will not be conducive to home improvements.

Goat:
Look forward to:  Home improvements made this year will pay big dividends at time of resale.
Caution: Be careful not to get caught up in neighborhood gossip. If you have plumbing problems deal with them before a plumbing disaster occurs.

Look forward to: Those purchasing or selling a Monkey home in 2010 will do very well financially.
Caution: Be careful with altercations at the home or you might lose a good friend.

Rooster:
Look forward to: Your home will be the pride of the neighborhood this year.  This is the home everyone will point out and you will likely win a landscaping award in 2010.
Caution: If you have any unresolved permit issues you should straighten them out before the city issues you a citation.

Pig:
Look forward to: A former occupant may have buried (hidden) money in the backyard and you might just find it while working in your garden.
Caution: Make sure you have your home roto rooted as pluming problems can be an issue this year.

Thank you for that table, I was just searching for that. And from my position of realtor I must say that many of my clients take into consideration by buying a new house many various aspects...this is also one from them. Whether it works, I am not sure, but if you believe in something, it becomes automatically true for you.
So, that's my point of view.
