Los Angeles Real Estate in the Movies

As an Angelino, driving around Los Angeles neighborhoods, you often stumble across filming; perhaps not as much today as in years past.  For decades, our motion picture industry has provided many Angelenos with a very good living.  It’s devastating to our local economy that so much filming is now being done out of state or worse in Canada.  LA Councilman Alarcon's office states that Hollywood has a $57 billion per year impact on the local economy, but that local film shoots have decreased by half since 1996, and 41 percent of TV pilot productions were done outside of L.A. last year alone.

How do we bring filming back to Los Angeles?  I had hoped our governor would have had more success in this endeavor….Some Los Angeles movie locations you may have overlooked:
