The holidays can be wonderful or stressful. I am not much of a list maker, but it seems that each Christmas I get behind.   I decided to start a check list: 



Expecting overnight guests?
Is the guest room ready? Do you have several nice sets of towels for them? 

Upholstery & rug cleaning?
Book the appointment early as the cleaners get backed up this time of year.  This is where I get caught each year.

Gift lists, wrapping?
Do you have wrapping paper and ribbons?  I went to Moskatels over the weekend and replenished my wrapping paper and ribbon.

Menu
Is there anything you can make ahead and freeze?  We have been having quiche Christmas morning.  I make it early in December and freeze it.  Then I don’t need to start Christmas morning with a dirty kitchen.

Fix-it’s around the house?
Leaky faucets?  We have outdoor heaters and George's big task is to get the propane tanks filled.
