Buyers are Liars
The year I married George was insane, I left the mortgage banking business, started selling real estate and had a baby – all in one year! My manager and many of the office’s “veteran real estate agents repeatedly counseled that “buyers are liars” – "they tell you what they want and yet purchase something completely different."
My experience has taught me: Buyers want to feel at home. And until they walk through that door and get “the vibe” it isn’t going to happen. Of course we all “want” a certain amount of bedrooms, baths, etc. but what we need is a refuge, a place to welcome loved ones, a shelter from the storm.
If you are buying an investment you are not buying a home; but if you are buying a home, there is something that needs to call your name and tell you this is the one. If you don't get the vibe, it could be a mistake.
