What makes a successful real estate agent?

Determination. Of course, experience is certainly an asset, but experience without determination is not enough. In the real estate business, determination is the glue that makes the transaction stick.

I left Monday morning @ 6:30 to settle my youngest in Arcata for college - approximately a 650 mile drive with a portion through the Redwood Forest, it was a hard drive.  Moved her in Tuesday wrapped up loose ends on Wednesday and was back in the office Thursday @ 6:30 PM. Yes, that is determination.  Her dorm is on the third floor and there is no elevator.  George and I have driving issues and he won’t be a passenger while I am driving, and I don’t like being a passenger with him driving, so no manpower, no George to help. It was a difficult trip, but I was determined, and it was accomplished.

My new buyer’s agent Lisa is fabulous! Natalie hasn’t had as much time off as we hoped but the good news is she is closing an escrow next week and hopefully opening another.  Stay put, Baby Cerpa, let Natalie sell just one more home before you arrive – college is VERY expensive.
