Another escrow closing

When selling a home, it is always easier to sell it quickly and most often this achieves the highest price.  A quick sale enables the home seller to end the constant showings and the struggle to keep their home in "show condition".

A young family came to one of the three Cordova open houses (all within the first week) and after looking around for awhile, the young mother called her father to take a look at the home as well.  I overheard him tell his daughter that no one pays asking price in this market.  Well her father was wrong. The first time I sold Cordova it sold quickly, in multiple offers and $7,000 over the asking price. It just as quickly fell out of escrow and the next highest bidder wanted to lower his offer, the answer was no.

After several more weeks another buyer was located and fortunately for the seller agreed to pay the full asking price (but $7,000 less than the first escrow).  We are closing with this new buyer today; they bought a beautiful home and I wish them happiness.
