La Canada’s Selling Prices (based on price per sq ft) fell this year through April but made a very minor come back in May.  Average price per sq ft in La Crescenta has bounced around the $370 range.

Wikipedia states that according to the 2000 census there were 6,989 housing units in La Canada and 7,108 in La Crescenta. Similar numbers, yet La Canada has only seen 62 homes sell through May while La Crescenta claims 77 (according to MLS data).
