If you are thinking of making improvements to your Los Angeles real estate, now is a great time for numerous reasons.  Many in the home improvement field continue to appreciate the business. Recently, I sold a 1940’s traditional home.  It had a bedroom addition with inexpensive windows, which didn’t match the charm of the original structure.  My client decided to have the windows replaced.  Fortunately for her there was a small tax incentive for her to do so.

 

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) provides for a credit of 30 percent of the cost of qualifying improvements up to $1,500, such as adding insulation, energy-efficient exterior windows/skylights, and energy-efficient heating and air conditioning systems.
