A new architectural style – The Colonian

As a student, history was consistently my favorite subject.  As a real estate agent, I appreciate the historical aspect of fine architecture; some of my favorite styles are mid-century, colonial, and Mediterranean. Each morning, I check the Multiple Listing Service.   I search for new listings for our buyers and new comps for our sellers.  But every now and again I get sidetracked.  Recently, I discovered a new architectural style, the Colonian.

Currently offered at $695,000, the Listing Agent wrote in the MLS remarks:

"TWO STORY COLONIAN FEATURING 3 BEDROOMS AND 2.5 BATHS. FRESH INTERIOR PAINT, AND WOOD FLOORING. KITCHEN OFFERS BRAND NEW APPLIANCES AND GRANITE COUNTERTOPS. NICE YARD WITH A COVERED PATIO, IDEAL FOR ENTERTAINING
."

(The caps on this colonian and punctuation are copied from the MLS remarks).  I try to keep up with the architectural styles, but have not seen yet seen a colonian, have you?

This particular house was on the market a couple months back at 576,000. It was snapped up in less than 24 hours. I went to see it at 8am and was told by the realtor they had already accepted an offer.
Don't know what they did to upgrade it that much that fast. It was in pretty good shape before the new list price, clean, good upgraded kitchen except that the columns had rot or termite damage and the upstairs bathroom was a throw back to the early 1980's .
