Los Angeles House Hunters, not a buyer's market everywhere

Although, I author this Los Angeles blog, I am a real estate agent, not a journalist.  Finally in today's LA Times Business Section, you will find a well written article from Chip Jacobs.  Chip explains that what's happening in Palmdale is not an indicator of what is occurring in Los Angeles.  He discuses a home buyer and their search for a home in a very competitive price range ($400,000).  His article accurately reports the confusion and the reality of this real estate market.

Read it here: House hunting? It's not a buyer's market everywhere. And the reporter even gave me a quote!

What did you think of this article?

    Phyllis,

I was in the story, too. And I also thought he did an excellent job. There was one quote I gave him that was attributed to somebody else, but other than that I agree he really captured the sentiment out there.
