Are Real Estate Agents sub human?

Recently, I blogged about the swine flu epidemic and being careful to wash your hands.  I was delighted that LA’s Curbed picked up my post.

But read some of  Curb's blogger’s comments:

"I wash my hands after dealing with Realtors anyway, always have."

"Wait, is this post implying real estate agents are human? Weird."

I'm confused, where did all of this hatred come from?

I AM a Realtor not the bride of Frankenstein

I AM a human being, a mother, a wife, I have three dogs and a cat, I am on the Board of Directors of the YWCA to help battered women and their families.

Gentle readers of my Los Angeles Real Estate Blog, what do you think?  Am I to be considered subhuman because of my profession? And if so isn't this stereotype discrimination?

What did you think of this article?

    Phyllis,

You have to remember that the commenters on Curbed LA are particularly vitriolic.

They don't like anything and rip on everything, so take it with the requisite grain of salt.
