Typically when you purchase a home, there will be some improvements you will want to make.  I believe in keeping an eye on future resale and of course pleasing yourself.  One change which can be made to your bathroom is to replace the old shower doors with the frameless shower door enclosures.  We had ours replaced nearly five years ago and the frameless doors are a wonderful improvement.
