There are costs involved in both buying and selling real estate; if you are purchasing your home you need to be happy in it. 

Trite but true: Your home is your castle.  If eating pork and beans one night a week for dinner, makes the difference between you loving or tolerating your home, eat the pork and beans. If a bit more money in the monthly payment buys you love, go for it! In the long run you will be happier.
