I was in the real estate lending business prior to fax machines, and I recall numerous instances when papers had  to be  hand delivered...and then the fax machine simplified the business.  I love technology!  For years, I have frequently hired a measurer to tape many of my real estate listings:

*After walking into so many homes. I have developed a “feel” for square footage and sometimes find that the tax assessor’s calculation is incorrect. When, I hire a measurer who validates larger square footage, the home seller can often command a higher selling price.

*Some homes, I list are “fixers”, and the floorplan enables a prospective home buyer and or their contractor a visual aid in determining the best way to redo the residence.
