How to prepare for real estate photos
Our home stager assists our clients in preparing their home for sale. Focal points are created and the home is readied for our real estate photographer. I was searching the MLS this morning and came across this home, the listing had expired; the home didn't sell.

In this multiple listing service (MLS) photo, I think the ceramic lemon basket and possibly some of the red accents (such as the tea kettle) should have been removed for the photos. The cabinets, stainless appliances, center island and pot rack are the selling features. This is a lovely kitchen but there is a lot going on.

This is another lovely room, but this too has a lot going on. The high ceilings, French doors and fireplace are the key selling features. The plant on the coffee table and corner game table should have been removed for the photos. The statue by the fireplace also draws the eye to the decorating and not the features. The wall tapestry is distracting, but removal would likely leave holes in the wall.
