Clean out the closet!  A major aspect of home staging is decluttering. Moving on or staying put, clean out your closets. Donate items you no longer need, remember one man’s trash is another’s treasure. 

According to the National Association of Home Builders’ Consumer Preferences Survey,  a linen closet is the most frequently requested feature in the bathroom.  Clean out the closets and “sell” the space.  I hire an interior decorator/home stager to consult with my clients prior to putting their homes on the market. She utilizes this before and after of her linen closet during her staging consultation.
