Over indulgence is out for 2009

Consumption is out; Murphy Beds are in for 2009.

We have house guests several times a year.  The total number of days that overnight guests are in residence is probably less than 3 weeks.   Perhaps, you have the luxury of enough space to designate a room that will sit empty most of the year waiting for a guest.   Or perhaps, you don’t want to “waste” a room for several weeks out of the year.

If you don’t have the space to designate one bedroom just for company, consider a Murphy bed.  This tremendous space saver makes your home office instantly convertible to a comfortable guest bedroom.   As American values shift to “less is more”, think space saving improvements to your home, they should pay off at time of resale.

Murphy beds...haven't thought of those in years, but truly it is an excellent idea and way to save space yet still have a guest room alternative to an air mattress.
