Yesterday was insane. 
My La Canada home is on septic (tank); I am not certain what happened but over the weekend the smell was horrible.  In the meantime, we had some plumbing issues.......AND my 1940’s home has the original wood paned windows which are beautiful but they don’t all open and close (and they haven’t since we purchased our home over a decade ago).  I took my own advice and a handyman came over and repaired them for me - imagine that, I now have "working" windows! 

If you have the money to have home improvements or repairs done to your home, have it done now, most of these “guys” can use the income and are very grateful for the work.
