Selling your Los Angeles home, clean out the closets!
I was showing homes in Burbank this week, in the million + range and was surprised to see how little preparation some homeowners gave to how they present their home to the market. Not every homeowner wants to go through the trouble of home staging but there are some simple things a home seller can and should do.

Are you moving? Well then weed through the stuff, donate, trash or pack. When cleaning the closet, ask:
Do I love it?
Does it fit?
When is the last time I wore it?
Is this the image I want to project?
It’s really that simple. Interested home buyers do open cupboards, drawers and closets. If it appears that you have outgrown your storage space, it will be hard for you to “sell it” to the next buyer. Remember, there are home buyers out there and they are obtaining financing, but only the “cream of the crop” is selling. If you want to make it to sold, make just a little effort and it will pay off.
Price it and show to sell.
