The state of the Los Angeles Real Estate Market

It’s no secret that it has been a quiet year for most Realtors, (me included) and although I have been working daily with just a few brief vacations, many days are spent quietly.  Fortunately, it has not been a financial hardship (thanks to my husband George.)

On Tuesday, I had a property inspection and I asked the LA property inspector how his business was, he told me it had been slow but just this week picked up.  The Los Angeles termite guys were here and I asked the same question, they told me they picked up last week. My calls and Internet inquiries have more than doubled since Monday.  There you have it, 3 different service providers in the Los Angeles real estate industry and we have all noticed an up tick.

I wonder if the lenders have felt it too. Is this the sign we have been waiting for?

Sounds like the beginning of good news for a change. Our state of Washington has also had a slow down. The realtor's here think it's because California sellers are not moving up as often as before. So we'll depend on you folks to get the ball moving.

Didn't know you were a reader - I don't know any Californians that want to live in Washington State - too much rain!  You can't beat our climate, I still can't figure out why you moved!! Maybe you will follow the boys down here - when they move to be near their aunt in beautiful California.
