La Crescenta, California an affordable option for blue ribbon schools
Many home buyers seeking an affordable option for a community with blue ribbon schools often decide on La Crescenta.
Twelve homes have sold in the 91214 zip code in October (month to date) according to MLS stats. The least expensive was my listing on Altura (a major fixer on a busy corner lot across the street from the freeway). We sold this one in a multiple offer situation and just a bit over the asking price. $600,000 - $650,000 buys a Great (with a capital "G") 3 & 2 home in this popular community, and if you aren't as particular, you can easily find one in the 5's.

After the down payment, you won’t have money remaining for repairs. A decent kitchen, a master suite… is it too much to wish for? Here’s an excerpt from one of my previous posts about La Crescenta: According to the Crescenta Valley Chamber of Commerce, "La Crescenta is a residential community offering nighttime rest, seclusion and quiet for ... -
