Whether you own or rent, brush fire can severely impact you.  If you had to evacuate, what do you take? What do you do?

What do you take?
1) Family and pets – Where are the car seats? Carriers and leashes? Can you locate them in a minute?
2) Family photos, jewelry, heirlooms – where are they? Are they in one location, and can they be packed in a minute?

Do yourself a favor, both homeowner or renter, call your insurance company tomorrow and start asking questions about your coverage.  And if you are a renter and do not have "contents insurance", phone any insurance company and start asking questions.
