Home Improvements – Think about resale
We purchased our home about 15 years ago. We were fortunate to complete a major update prior to moving in. As with most remodeling projects, choices were made and some improvements sacrificed. Several things I regret… we should have put them on a credit card if we had to.
Our plumbing is old galvanized, and we have been digging into (freshly painted) walls for the last 15 years – replacing it pipe by pipe – a very foolish and costly way to update the plumbing.
As bottled water is expensive and has a negative impact on the environment and my large Sparkletts water bottle is likely germ ridden, my other regret is not installing a water filtration system when we updated our kitchen. I think a water filtration system is a great home improvement that will pay off at the time of resale.
Moen Introduces Puretouch® Aquasuite™ Filtered Water System - The Ultimate In Filtered Water Convenience
If anyone has a built-in water filtration in their home, I would love to know the details.
