Julienne Fine Foods, San Marino
How have I never been to San Marino’s restaurant Julienne?
For years, I have enjoyed their (to go) food at Broker’s open houses, but I had not been to their location, until last Saturday. George and I were nearby shopping for a birthday gift and we had time for a leisurely breakfast – seemed like the perfect time to check out Julienne in person.

Go early, it is packed, but the neighborhood window shopping and Julienne's selection of gourmet take out was entertaining. I ordered the French toast which is served with a vanilla sauce and the bottom is caramelized (similar to crème brûlée); tasted like bread pudding – well worth the wait.

I know I loved it and took a loaf home, but as you know my parents were visiting and my mom didn't like it; I loved it - toast, sandwiches....
