Mid Century Architecture in Los Angeles, California
I developed a passion for mid century architecture nearly a decade ago when I had the honor of representing the seller of Lloyd Wright’s Gainsburg house. Los Angeles is home to a variety of mid century homes and although most were not designed by name architects, they too offer prime examples of mid century design. Then of course our own Los Angeles International Airport which is an example of commercial mid century architecture.

Too late for this Labor Day weekend, but if you are looking for a different Palm Springs Get Away – one in a private home, check out this PS mid century rental site.

I have recently just moved to LA from London and I love the architecture of the mid century homes here. My Dad is an architect and he is visiting in the fall, it will be fun looking around and exploring all interesting buildings here.
Thanks,
Laura

Los Angeles International Airport is one of many airports classified as mid century architecture. Another one is the Main Terminal at Dulles Airport in Northern Virginia. Any others you know about?
