How do you sell real estate globally?
As a real estate agent, I have clients looking at property all over the country. Through the Internet, I also have people all over the world contact me about Los Angeles homes for sale. My brokerage, Dickson Podley Realtors is a member of the Leading Real Estate companies of the World and the clientèle that are outside of my neighborhood are referred to local experienced Realtors.
Is it a full moon? Because today I have had inquiries coming out of nowhere:
I received an email from a Canadian buyer looking for (architect) John Lautner homes, which we have two available for sale in my stomping grounds: La Canada and Glendale’s Whiting Woods. This was an easy email and if they are interested I would love to show these amazing homes.
I received another email from another Canadian (apparently they are feeling flush with their currency exchange) about property near Malibu. This potential buyer was referred to my Relocation Director.
My most recent call was from a client thinking of buying in San Diego, and I highly recommended my former buyer’s agent, Meagan (Hughes) Luce. Meagan worked for me for five years and eight years ago relocated to San Diego. Meagan just closed escrow for Chris Zastrow’s goddaughter. Everyone loves Meagan and I know my client will too.
