Los Angeles Realtor's Cell Phone Solution

Cell phones have been a boon to Realtors; obviously there are days where I am in my car for hours.  I know many keep their cellular phone “on them” but that doesn’t work for me.  There have been too many occurrences when my “purse rings”; I remove my phone and leave it on my desk at the office.  Then when I am in the car and need my phone - I don’t have it; VERY frustrating for a Realtor (or anyone else) to be in the car for hours without a telephone.  My solution has been to keep my cell phone in my car.  In the event I am at an open house or somewhere for hours I often remove my phone from the car and take it with me, but I have the habit that I don’t bring it in my office.   My cell phone solution works for me because I am often in the office available on my primary phone.

The other issue with the cell phone is that as I do receive a lot of phone calls and messages, it is more efficient for me to have one “central” location to retrieve voice mail messages.  When I am out and about, I only have one place to check my voice mail and because of this, I can return calls promptly.

Text messages: Because I don’t keep my cell phone “on me”; I am not an avid  text messenger.  Some of the people I work with and even members of my family ARE text messengers and I can’t text if my phone is in the car and I am not.  I have discovered a web site that allows me to text message to anyone’s cell phone from my office keyboard.  AND it’s free! "

I love technology!

    Hello

Very nice blog. I really enjoyed reading it. Recently I wanted to buy a house and I search online for sites like yours to educate myself on the process. After several recommendations and referrals I called the guys at http://www.homeinspectionspecialist.com and they inspected my house for me. I am so glad I search online and got advice on this step in the buying process.. I found out a lot of things about the house that I would not have known.. in fact I even used it to negotiate over $10,000 dollars off the asking price. Anyway, I look forward to all the updates. Thanks again.

You cannot text message over the internet, THIS WOULD BE REFERRED TO AS E-MAIL, text messaging is done FROM CELL PHONE TO CELL PHONE, NOT by a cell phone novice to a TEXT MESSAGE PRO.
