Los Angeles: Public Swimming Pools
Tropico Station (Blog) recently posted about local (Burbank and Griffith Park) pools and where to cool off in our Los Angeles heat.

As a kindergartner I learned to swim at the Glendale YWCA. The pool has recently reopened to the public; you don’t need to purchase a membership to swim. This is a great way to beat the heat AND to support the Y’s efforts in offering safety, security and hope to women, children and families.
