More Tree Trouble
I have been paying close attention to the trees at my home. The other evening, George and I were getting into his car when we noticed several "flying ants" on the hood. We discovered that they were swarming around a tree near the house and driveway. I immediately contacted my neighbor, worried that if the tree was infested with termites that her home and mine would both be infested. Then I contacted, Tri-Pacific Termite.
The verdict: my tree is diseased but not with termites... Maybe just ants, but the tree had been "eaten" through the core and has now been removed. We have lived in our home for nearly fifteen years so it's not surprising that Tri-Pacific did find some evidence of termites which we will have treated.
