Natalie is married and I am swamped!

She did it!  All the talk, all the worrying, all the planning, Natalie married the nicest man, Russell Cerpa & they are enjoying themselves in Florida while I do all of the work! And busy it is!

Today:

Showed a house - I asked the buyer yesterday if they could PLEASE be on time, because I had an appointment right after our showing.... Well they weren't on time & they didn't call me unit 15 minutes later.  Please respect our time, I jammed out of the house today to get to that confirmed appointment on time and for nothing.

Made my next appointment (listing) and then showed my Foothill lease for the 2nd time to this client. Now I am writing counter offers - shh! tell you about that one later - for my 1:30 appointment.

And I have an open house tomorrow, dinner with friends tonight at the Four Seasons (wow!) for a birthday celebration.

In the midst of this, I have a client....(is someone I have showed property to for three years that still hasn't bought a client?) who wants to see a short pay off, today (I don't have any time today) and tomorrow I have an open house; I would like a few hours to catch up on my paperwork tomorrow before or after my open house..... and I am swamped with Natalie gone.  I think I am going to make the business decision that I will not show short pay offs because they are not real listings and generally a waste of time.  But maybe I am cranky and hungry...

But.... please remember we are paid only upon successful closing. There are thousands of homes for sale in Los Angeles, which are really for sale... not ones that someone has to think about or get the bank's approval. Has anyone reading here heard of anyone with a positive short pay experience? I know there are a handful of you... I would love your comments.
