More Vacant Homes on the market in Los Angeles
The percentage of vacant homes for sale in the U.S. set a new record high in the first quarter of this year, the government said Monday.
Natalie and I have noticed a troubling trend, more vacant homes in our neighborhood. It seems that more and more of the homes we are showing are empty. There are a variety of reasons: foreclosure, already purchased another and moved on, flip, corporate relocation (perhaps to another state), etc. Obviously home sellers of vacant properties are more motivated.
MLS Stats
La Canada 89 homes listed– 18 are vacant (20%)
Glendale 221 homes listed– 74 are vacant (33%)
La Crescenta 74 homes for sale - 22 are vacant (29%)
